John HARLEY, Esq., an old resident of Miramichi, died at his residence Chatham Head (North. Co.) yesterday. Mr. Harley for many years carried on a heavy shipbuilding business on Beaubear's Island, and in later years held the office of Inspector of Lights and afterwards Harbor Master from which office he was superannuated by the Dominion Governement a few years since. He was a few days over 80 years old at the time of his death. - 'Herald', 27th.
