Mrs. S.H. WHITE, Church Ave,, Sussex was suddenly called from earth Sunday afternoon. Mrs. White was the second d/o late J. Allan HALLETT, who had fallen dead on the sidewalk near his own home only a few weeks ago. The deceased was 39 years old. While she had for several months been in rather poor health, still no one had any idea that death was so near. To the sorrowing husband and little daughter, as well as the mother and sisters of the deceased, the sympathy of the community is extended. The funeral took place Wednesday morn., 10 o'clock. Three cousins, S.E. HOYT, St. John; Oliver HALLETT and E. HALLETT of this town, and the brother-in-law of the deceased, Mr. PERHAM of Chelmsford, Mass., carried the remains to the grave. The employees of the mercantile establishment of which Mr. White is the senior member, marched in a body. The remains were conveyed to the cemetery at Upper Corner. Rev. H.W. Little performed the last sad rites.
