The funeral of Rev. Dr. HOPPER took place at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from his residence, corner of Lenister and Pitt streets. A short service was held at the huse. From the house the body was taken to the Brussels Street Baptist Church where a service was held at 3 o'clock, Rev. Carey officiating. After the service the procession reformed and the remains were taken to their final resting place in the Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery. The pall bearers were G.G. KING, C.P. BAKER, M. McDONALD, John McGINTY, W. ALWOOD and Dr. STEEVES.
