James CARSON s/o William CARSON, Clearwater, Stanley Paarish (York Co.), came to this city last night to be operated upon for obstruction of the bowels. The operation was performed last eve. at Victoria Hospital by Drs. Currie and Frank Brown, but the patient was unable to stand the operation and died from its effects midnight. The body was taken to his home at Clearwater this morn. Deceased was in his 49th year.
