A large number of persons from the city attended the funeral of Thomas DAVIDSON which took place from his residence, Girvan Bank, Simonds (St. John) Saturday afternoon. The directors of the St. John Agricultural Society preceeded the hearse. The pall bearers were James MANCHESTER, Richard THOMPSON, John LEE, William SHAW, Archibald SINCLAIR, David WILLET. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. McRae and Rev. George Bruce.
