We learn from `Miramichi Gleaner' that James WISE s/o John WISE of Douglastown (North. Co.), age 21 and student at law in office of George KERR, Esq. of Chatham came to an untimely death on morn. of 23rd ult., by accidental discharge of his gun while proceeding aone on a shooting excursion. It would appear that while in the act of lifting his gun towards him over a gate, something caught the trigger and the gun went off, lodging its contents in the right side of the abdomen over the region of the liver in a downward direction and at the same time igniting his clothes to a great extent. He then turned towards home and succeded in getting only about 60 paces where he was found lying on his back close to the fence.
