Mrs. CRAIG wife of Isaac CRAIG died at Carleton (St. John) Monday night under sad circumstances. Deceased was a woman of delicate constitution and although never very ill was never strong. One night last week a young lad named PRICE, who noticed Mr. Craig's boat filled with water at the wharf at the Old Fort, hastened to Mrs. Craig and told her that her husband's boat was sunk and that he was drowned. The shock completely prostrated the woman and when her husband returned from town, where he had been delayed a little longer than usual, he found her in a serious condition. The doctor was summoned but in spite of his efforts Mrs. Craig grew worse and died Monday eve. She was only in the 32nd year of her age.
