There are several cases of dyphtheria in town. The year old son of John LAWRENCE, who lives on Westmorland Street, died with this disease at Victoria Hospital yesterday morn. The remains were interred in the Rural Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Undertakers Adams & Price had charge of the funeral arrangements. A twin brother of the deceased is now down with the disease and there is very little hope of his recovery. All the members of the Lawrence family have been afflicted with diphtheria, but with the exception of the twin brother, all are now convelescent.
