Grand Manan (Charlotte Co.) - Owen PARKER, Welchpool, Campobello has been visiting Capt. John W. KENT of the Swallow Tail Light house. Mr. Parker is 77 years old. He has a fine farm at 'the Pool' and last year he raised 450 bushels of potatoes, 200 bushels of turnips, 1000 cabbage, 12 tons oats, 30 bushels of root crop and 6 tons hay, taking off nine acres of land and doing most of the work himself. He also keeps summer boarders.
