A despatch received from Pensacola, Florida yesterday conveys the sad intelligence of the death of Charles S. McEWEN s/o Mrs. Thos. McEWEN and brother of Geo. McEWEN of this city. Mr. McEwen, who paid his last visit to Moncton four years ago, was a member of the Escambia Fish & Ice Co., doing business in Pensacola. He left Moncton about 15 years ago and has made his home in the United States ever since. He was 35 years of age. Death was due to typhoid pneumonia and occurred at 6:30 Tuesday morn. The remains will be interred at Pensacola.
