Amherst, N.S. - The death of Helen TAYLOR wife of A.D. TAYLOR took place Saturday 13th inst, after intense suffering over five weeks. Mrs. Taylor was the only child of Dr. H.H. READ of Halifax by his first wife, who was a Miss EMBREE second child of Elisha EMBREE of this town. The funeral took place Monday, a service being held at the Baptist Church, Revs. D.A. Steele and McDonald officiating.
