The death of Miss Pauline BELL took place at Passadena, California on the 16th. She contracted a cold on her way to California last month from which she never fully recovered and which finally developed into inflammation of the stomach. This proved suddenly fatal, her friends not suspecting any danger till a few hours before her death. Her mother, Mrs. John BELL and sister, Mrs. MILLER were with her at the last.
