The Sandgate, England, 'Telegraph', Nov. 4th, contains a lengthy account of the funeral of William s/o William WOOD, foreman of J.H. Pullen of this city. Deceased was 16 years old and at a very early age went to Sandgate, the native place of his parents. For some time previous to his death he was a sufferer from abscess. Some time age the father of the deceased visted his former home and had only returned a few days when he received intelligence of his son's death. Deceased belonged to the 1st Company, Sangate Church Lads' Brigade. At the garve Rev. H. Russell Wakefield amde a touching reference to the deceased.
