The funeral of John G. QUINN of Indiantown (St. John) yesterday afternoon was one of the largest that has left that place for a long time. The St. Aloysius Assoc. and Young Men's Society of Saint Joseph, of which of each deceased was a member, as well as St. Peter's Society and the Cadets of Portland were in attendance as were also Father Matthew Assoc., St. Malachi's Society, Cadets of the Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick's Society of Carleton. The remains were interred in the Portland Catholic Burial Ground behind St. Peter's Church. The procession was Marshalled by John O'BRIEN of Mill St. The pall bearers were Alex. PHILLIPS, John McGUIRE, Charles J. TOMNEY, Thomas KYFFIN, D.J. DOHERTY and Neil MAHONEY.
