The funeral of late John PALMER took place at Dorchester Sunday afternoon. Upwards of 60 carriages followed the remains. Services at the house and church were conducted by Rev. J. Roy Campbell. All the sons and daughters of the deceased were present with the exception of Mrs. LAVERS of Montreal. Six of the grandsons of the deceased acted as pall bearers viz. John PALMER, Frederick PALMER, Clifford PALMER, Andrew PALMER, Samuel PALMER and Elbridge PALMER.
