Calais, Me. - Samuel CURRY fell dead in his room this Wednesday morn. about 2 o'clock. He was heard to fall by members of his family and they, on entering the room found him lying on the floor, but life had flown. His long residence of forty years and the good life he led compelled the respect of the community. His wife has been dead many years, but a son and two daughters survive him, the eldest daughter being the wife of Frank DAVIS, superintendent of the gas and electric light company. Mr. Curry was nearly 80 years of age. He has been in ill health since his injury at the Silverstone fire, when one man was killed and several injured.
