The Liverpool 'Post' has the following: The will dated 25th Nov. 1888 of the late George W. ROBERTS of Mossley-hill, Liverpool, shipowner, who died 8th Dec. last, has been proved by the acting executors, his sons, Edward ROBERTS and William ROBERTS, power being reserved to grant probate to his son, Frank ROBERTS, also named as executor in the will. The testator confirms the conveyance made in 1876 at Aigburth to his wife and bequeaths her 500 and to his son, George Edwin ROBERTS 250 for the completion of his education ... The income from his residuary estate is to be paid as to one fifth thereof each to son, George Edwin and his daughter, Mrs. Lillie Ann McDONALD for life; and to one fifth each to the wives of his sons, Edmund ROBERTS, Frank and William for life or widowhood.
