James KELLY was born in 1860 at Belfast, Ireland and is now 34 years of age. He is the eldest s/o John KELLY and Sarah KELLY. He came to this city in 1882 and entered the employ of Jas. S. May & Co., tailors and was afterwards in the employ of John Wilson, tailor. Subsequently Mr. Kelly started in the tailoring business for himself and is still engaged in that busines. Mr. Kelly is prominent in many orders. He is an Orangeman, Forester, Free Mason and Oddfellow and Son of Temperance. He is a born Orangemen, his father being a prominent member in Ireland. Mr. Kelly is now grand master of the Provincial Lodge, L.O.A. and grandlecturer of British America. Mr. Kelly married Jennie McHARG d/o Robert McHARG, in 1883, and with his wife and three children reside on High Street, North End, St. John.
