The inquest in the Chatham murder was begun last night. Stanley FLIEGER, the first witness, testified that he was one of the boys with LUKE when the shooting took place. The other witnesses were Dr. Jos. B. BENSON and Dr. BAXTER. Wm GROAT, the next witness testified to meeting with DOHERTY when he was coming home about 10:30. (see original or testimonies)
