We learn by arrival yesterday from Brier Island, that the shallop that was run under by the "Thelis" belonged to that port- that the crew consisted of Corrington PRENTISS, Charles HAINES and Henry RICE s/o William RICE, the whole of whom were on deck at the time the disaster occurred. Mr. PRENTISS supported himself with the aid of an oar till taken up by one of the fishing vessels then at hand, but Messrs. RICE and HAINES sank before assisance could reach them. HAINES left a wife, ten children. RICE was single, age 22. No blame was attached to Master or crew of "Thetis".
