An inquest was held by W. Corrie, Esq., at North Grand, N.S. near this village, Thursday on the body of John GRANT s/o Edmund GRANT, farmer. The deceased, age 12 or 13, had gone to the barn for the purpose of taking out an empty wagon. He had not been absent more than 15 minutes when the younger brother who had gone either to assist or look for him, came running into the house (saying) that his brother was dead under the barn door which had fallen upon him. - Antigonish Casket
