A 21/2 year old son of Robert SCRIBNER of Summer Hill (Queens Co.) left his grandfather's residence unknown to any of the family and started for his home, a distance of four miles. He was missed not long after and hunted for high and low, but no trace of him could be found until a young man,an uncle of his went to a neighbor's and seeing little footmarks on the way, followed on until he overtook the child, a few rods from his house. Four miles or so was a pretty good tramp for such a little fellow.
