Pleasant Ridge (North. Co.) Sept. 12 - An event that took place here yesterday was the celebration of the golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. John B. HOLT. This was the occasion of a family re-union, as all their children (one excepted) with their wives, husbands and children, and also grandchildren, were present. They had born to them eleven children. One of their sons went West when quite a youth and has never seen his parents since, being away 17 years. Following is a list of the names of their sons, their residence and occupations: Warren HOLT, farmer, living at home with the parents; Boardman HOLT, telegraph operator, Chicago; Elijah HOLT, conductor, Minneapolis; Samuel HOLT, barber, Minneapolis; Beecher HOLT, lineman, Minneapolis; Jeremiah HOLT, conductor, Caribou, Maine; Ambrose HOLT, at home with parents.
