d. Mary E. TAYLOR died at Millville (York Co.) Jan. 31, 85th year, at the residence of Mrs. Thos. L. EARLE, her granddaughter. On Feb. 2nd her remains were born to their last resting place in the cemetery at Millville. Mrs. Taylor was born in St. John, N.B. 2nd April 1810, the year in which the first Baptist church was organized in St. John city, of which her mother, Mrs. Mary HARDING, widow of Thos. HARDING was one of the constituent members. Mrs. Taylor was baptized by Rev. J.E. Cresswell. She afterwards became a member of the first Baptist church in Fairfield at the time of its organization, the late Mrs. Harding, her mother, being chiefly instrumental in its formation. The late Mrs. Harding lived to see her fifth and Mrs. Taylor her fourth generation before having to depart from among those by whom they were so dearly beloved.
