Samuel BEATTIE was put on trial on Wednesday last, charged with Manslaughter for having killed James ROURKE while fighting hwith him in the month of August last. The parties had been fighting some little time, when the deceased received a blow near the ear and fell dead immediately. The verdict returned was for an Assault!
