One of the largest funerals to take place in St. Andrews was that of Adam W. SMITH, the veteran newspaper editor, Thursday afternoon last. The services at the house were conducted by Rev. A.W. Mahon of the Presbyterian church, assisted by Rev. C. Comben, Methodist. After the house service the procession moved towards the cemetery, the pall bearers being George MOWATT, Andrew LAMB, James MOWATT, John WADE, Fred A. STEVENSON and R.E. ARMSTRONG.
