The funeral of Joseph W. LAWRENCE, yesterday afternoon from his residence King Street, was largely attended. The members of the Historical Society were present in a body and walked as mourners immediately behaind the relatives of the deceased. A 3 o'clock the procession started for Trinity Church with the vestry of which Mr. Lawrence had long been connected. The service at the church was conducted by Rev. Canon Brigstocke, assisted by Rev. J. deSoyres. The interment was in Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery. James A. HARDING, J.V. ELLIS, B. Lester PETERS, R.W. CROOKSHANK, W.K. CRAWFORD and A.A. STOCKTON were the pall bearers.
