d. 12th Sept., at his residence, Windsor (Carleton Co.) Lorenbeza BELYEA, 36th year, youngest s/o Deacon John BELYEA and brother of the wife of Rev. T.O. DEWITT. While working in the woods loading logs one fell on him and before he was sufficiently recovered, he went to work again and was caught out in a heavy rain and snow storm and took cold. It settled in his back and hip which were still lame and a part of two years he was confined to his house and bed, his hip having swollen to an enormous size. His funeral sermon was preached by Elder Perry of F.C.B. Church, He leaves a wife, two children, an aged father, one brother, one sister.
