A week or two ago the (Fredericton) 'Express' gave an account of the desecration of a grave at Upper Caverhill (York Co.) - Mr. Editor: Noticing an article in your paper in reference to the removal of the remains of John ANDERSON from the graveyard at Upper Caverhill, I could not let it pass without letting the public know the particulars. When John ANDERSON was sick and dying, his son, Joseph ANDERSON, refused to let a minister near him; and on his death buried him in the Church of England burying ground, he being a Presbyterian. I immediately obtained permission from the Bishop to allow me to remove the remains which I did, and gave them a decent burial. If you will be kind enough to give insertion to the above you will greatly oblige, (sgd) James ANDERSON
