The death of Daniel CASEY has removed a citizen from our community. At one time he was Chief Engineer of the Fire Dept. and for many years up to 1st May last he occupied the position of road master. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Patrick McMANUS and three grandsons, Dr. H.D. McMANUS, James McMANUS, clerk in J.H. Hawthorne's store and Willie McMANUS. The funeral took place 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The remains were taken to St. Dunstan's church and thence to the Roman Catholic cemetery.
