Pictou, N.S., 'Standard' says: John ROY is one of the oldest inhabitants of Westville. He went into the pit first in 1830 and has workd constantly at his underground occupation ever since. He has been a miner for 58 years and is hale and hearty yet. He was married three times and has 23 children. He is widely known in local Masonic circles where his famous vocal powers are in frequent requisition.
