Harris St., Portland is enjoying a sensation as falls its lot. Two years ago, Mrs. Richard DAMERY left her husband, and taking her young daughter with her, went to Boston. After her departure Mr. Damery procured a housekeeper and continued to live in the same place. Mrs. Damery returned from Boston on Thursday afternoon and accompanied by her daughter went to her husband's house. On her arrival she was refused admittance and matters assumed quite a lively aspect there for a time. It is said Mrs Damery contemplates suing for a divorce and the following marriage notice which appeared in the evening paper would give some color to the rumor. - In Boston, March 1st, 1886, by Rev. J.P. Warren, Richard DAMERY to Ann O'BRIEN, both of Boston
