We regret to learn of the death of David THOMSON, Grand Scribe of the Sons of Temperance of this Province. Globe - David Thomson died Sunday eve. at his home in Carmarthen St., Saint John, of congestion of the lungs brought on by the relapse of the influenza. He was unable to attend his brothr's funeral last week. He was a brother of Wm THOMSON and of the late Robert THOMSON. He was about 60 years of age and unmarried. For the last 15 years he has been a temperance worker and for five years has filled the office of Grand Scribe.
