Our Fenian Raid: St. John Volunteer Battalion when called out was under the command of Lt. Col. A.C. OTTY. The major was Charles RAY, but he was unable to go to the front in consequence of his business engagements. Capt. D. WILSON of the York Volunteers, private secretary to Gov. GORDON, was attached to the battalion as acting major. The captains were T. SULLIVAN, W.H. SCOVIL, J.S. HALL, Charles CAMPBELL, James R. MacSHANE, C.E. GODARD and Henry CUMMING. The adjutant was Capt. J.V. THURGAR. The paymaster was Henry MILLETT. The quartermaster was Fred P. ROBINSON. The lieutenants were Fred GODARD, M.W. MAHER, John B. WILMOT, W.S. BERTON, Robert D. DAVIS and A.W. PETERS. The ensigns were R. SCOTT, W.S. HARDING, M. McDONOUGH and J.J.O. EARLE. The surgeon was S.Z. EARLE, M.D. and the assistant surgeon, Dr. G.L. TAYLOR.
