John FAIRLEY who has been sick for many weeks at the Royal Hotel (St. John) died at noon today. He was one of the best known lumberman of the Miramichi (North. Co.) He belonged to Boiestown and his house there was a perfect refuge for the fisherman or belated traveller. The illness which caused his death was blood poisoning developed from an auger wound in his right hand. His remains will be forwarded for burial.
