A telegram was received in Kentville, N.S. on Monday stating that Joseph E. WOODWORTH, formerly shipbuilder in Cornwallis, brother of D.B. WOODWORTH, Q.C. and of George W. WOODWORTH of Kentville 'Chronicle' had been drowned in Georgia. Deceased was the son of B.B. WOODWORTH of Canning, N.S. and the eldest of a remarkable family. In the palmer days of the industry, Mr. W. was engaged in shipbuilding at Kingsport. Business reverses overtook him and during the Northwest boom, he turned up in Manitoba where he and his brother, D.B., operated together in real estate. The deceased represented Brandon in the Manitoba legislature but removed south a short time ago.
