On Thursday eve., Isabella TAYLOR d/o Alexander TAYLOR residing in the vicinity of Porter's Lake left home to visit a neighbour's house. As she did not return her friends became alarmed, instituted a search, but nothing could be discovered until the following Sunday, when the remains of the missing were found in Salmon River about 200 yards below the bridge on the main road. It is conjectured that the unfortunate woman was blown against and over the low railing of the bridge. - 'Halifax Chronicle'
