Springfield (Kings Co.) Oct. 20 - On Saturday afternoon 13th inst., the people of Belleisle Creek were startled by the announcement of the death of Mrs. Samuel NORTHRUP. Mrs. Northrup had taken her family with those of her family who were home and went about her work feeling hale and hearty. Her daughter, who was working with her, had cause to leave the room for a few minutes. Upon returning she was horrified to find her mother lying dead upon the floor. The husband and two daughters were in Boston at the time. On Thursday of the same week, Mr. N. had left his wife. A verdict was returned that the deceased came to her death by the bursting of a blood vessel leading to the heart. On Tuesday 16th inst., she was interred in the Methodist burying ground, Belleisle Creek. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wm Maggs, Apohaqui circuit pastor. The deceased was 47 years of age.
