The funeral of John A. HUMPHREY took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence of Humphrey's Mills. Flags were flying at half mast over the city building, Bank of Montreal, the schools and several provate establishments. The procession to the Rural Cemetery was perhaps the largest ever seen in Moncton. The services at the house were conducted by Rev. John Read. Rev. Brewer, pastor of the Central Methodist Church took part in the service, assisted by Rev. Weeks. The pall bearers were Mayor WHITNEY, Irvine W. BLANEY, Alfred E. CHAPMAN, Alex. L. WRIGHT, James W. OULTON and John C. PATTERSON.
