Hardwicke Notes - Willie MARTIN s/o Pilot Alex. MARTIN of Escuminac, died 23rd inst. from the effects of a fall received some time ago. Young Martin was employed in one of the lobster factories at Point Sapin during the summer. He and other fellows used to practice athletics such as jumping over the horizontal bar, Martin got a terrible fall which renedered him unconscious. He never fully recovered and died in great agony. The young man was 16 years of age., Hardwicke, Sept. 30, 1882.
