The death occurred at Houlton, Me. Monday night of Mrs Lizzie SPENSER widow of Christopher SPENSER and sister of Arthur GILMOUR of this city. Deceased had been ill for a year and she went to Houlton some five months ago to receive treatment. She benifitted much for a time and hopes were entertained for at least a temporary recovery, but she took cold about six weeks ago, which resulted in peritonitis, terminating fatally. She leaves two children. Her remains were brought to the city by the C.P.R. yesterday. The funeral will be held from her residence 1741/2 Duke St. this afternoon 2:30 o'clock.
