'All Flesh Is Grass' The above text came forcibly to our mind when we heard of the demise of Charles MURRAY of Long Creek (Queens Co.) Our thoughts reverted to a period more than 30 years ago, when in the pastorate of Springfield and English Settlement, a great many individuals crowded on our mind, who now we have evidence to believe are uniting their voices with the redeemed in the upper sanctuary among whom Walter MURRAY, Thomas MURRAY, David MURRAY, Peter OGILVIE and now Charles MURRAY, elders of the Church, hold a prominent place. Mr. Murray was a native of Roxborough, Scotland and was born in the year 1814, but removed to New Brunswick with his parents while very young. I have no date of his history previous to the year 1853 when I became pastor of the congregation to which he belonged. (sgd) Lewis Jack, Buctouche 9th April. 1888. (see eulogy)
