There are at least four men living in Fredericton who are as old as the century, namely: Capt. David CURRIER, John RUSSELL, James LYONS and Charles ESTABROOKS. All these were born in 1800. Capt. Currier was born in Gagetown and came to Fredericton in 1828 whence he sailed a sloop up and down the river till 1839 when, in the prime of life, he became captain of a steamboat. He is still hale and hearty.
