Henry HAVILAND, resident of Carleton (St. John) died of heart disease Monday forenoon. During the morn. he had one or two weak spells, but nothing serious was anticipated by the doctor or by those attending him. He grew gradually weaker, however, and finally his condition so alarmed relatives that they sent for his clergyman, Rev. M.D. Sampson. While the clergyman was with him, Mr. Haviland expired. About a year ago he slipped on the ice when coming from a political meeting in the public hall. He received severe injuries which made him an invalid, but his death was from heart trouble. Dr. White attended him and did not consider an inquest necessary.
