T. Partelow MOTT, who has been ill but a short time with typhoid fever, died Thursday eve. Mr. Mott's illness at first was slight and he seemed in a fair way to recover, but suffered a relapse and despite the best efforts of his physicians grew gradually worse. He was a native of Queens Co., a son of Amos MOTT and brother of Architect H.H. MOTT, J.A.S. MOTT and Dr. MOTT of this city. He was about 35 years of age and leaves a wife, formerly a Miss RILEY, an American lady, and three children. Mr. Mott ran a successful woollen business and was for some time associated with Mr. WILLIS in the operation of the Golden Grove Mills. He always took a keen interest in yachting and was on one of the committees on the harbor regatta.
