On Friday last, a young man named Duncan McRAE s/o John McRAE, Black River (North. Co.) was injured by a beam falling upon him while in the act of taking down an old barn. His injuries resulted in death on the following day. Last spring, Mr. McRAE lost a daughter who was drowned while crossing the ice at Black Brook in April last.
