William QUIGG who lived just below Nackawick stream (York Co.) was drowned Monday night at the head of Meductic Falls while crossing the river in a ferry scow. He had returned after having taken a family across in his wagon to some place on the west side of the river, and while sculling the scow over fell overboard and was drowned. He leaves a wife and eight children.
