Charles ARMSTRONG who was murdered on barque "Wellington" off Sicily, says the 'Halifax Herald', was well known in Nova Scotia. He was a native of Falmouth, Hants, N.S. and brother of John ARMSTRONG, station agent at that place and also of Capt. Albert ARMSTRONG, ship broker of Liverpool who was managing owner of the "Wellington". Charles Armstrong had been going to see over a quarter of a century. He commanded respectively the ships "Burmah", "Marlborough" and "Forest", all ships owned by E. Churchill & Sons of hantsport; the barque "Mavis" owned by Osmond O'Brien of Noel. (see original)
