Small Pox - James McDOUGAL or Henry McDOUGAL who, it is said, has a brother at McAdam Junction, left Connor's camp at L'Islet where he had been working in the lumber woods for some time, and came down here and hired to go into the woods at Newburgh for Messr. Gilmore. After being in the latter camp a few days, he was taken ill and finally, one Wednesday of last week, he came out and went to Manzer ATHERTON's to board. He lingered till 5:30 p.m. the following day, when he died, and the same night his body was decently buried in the Protestant burial yard. The deceased, some 23 or 24 years of age, we unsterand, was a native of P.E.I. (see original)
