Yesterday afternoon train from the west brought Alfred SPENCER of Lunenburg, N.S. to (St. John) city. The lower part of his body and limbs were paralyzed and he was almost unable to move. He was about 30 years of age and said that he had been fishing last summer and lumbering in the winterin Kingman, Maine until a few days ago, when he was stricken with paralysis.
